FAARO Family Programs: Hope for Argentine Families

FAARO is an ongoing effort to alleviate the poverty and marginalization that affect needy families throughout Argentina. By partnering with Argentine churches and others, FAARO seeks to provide a future and a hope to those whose voices society often does not hear.

Partnering with national churches, FAARO provides family feeding kitchens, works with children living in shanty towns, and ministers to mothers and their children (ages four and under) in prison. FAARO helped one church in a shantytown to purchase its building and sponsored a yearly “Backpack to School” program to provide school supplies to needy children. This year FAARO has brought hope to disadvantaged families in northern Argentina by working alongside another church to inaugurate a free dental clinic.
